Dolphins vs. Bills: 2023 NFL Wild Card Weekend Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks (Sunday)

The NFL Playoffs kick off this weekend including three matchups on Sunday. The first contest is between AFC East division rivals as the Miami Dolphins face the Buffalo Bills. Both regular season matchups were determined by three or fewer points, with each team winning at home. However, Tua Tagovailoa played in both matchups. On Sunday, the rookie Skylar Thompson will start for the Dolphins.

In the second game on Sunday, the New York Giants face the Minnesota Vikings. These two teams met in Week 16 in Minnesota, with the home team winning 27-24. The game was a close competitive battle, with the Vikings pulling out the victory on a game-winning 61-yard field goal as time expired.

To end the day, the Baltimore Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals in an AFC North divisional matchup. These two teams faced off last week, with the Bengals winning 27-16 as the Ravens started Anthony Brown Jr. at quarterback and sat key offensive players Mark Andrews and J.K. Dobbins. However, in the Week 5 matchup, the Ravens won 19-17, as Lamar Jackson led the team with 58 rushing yards. Unfortunately, Tyler Huntley appears on track to start this week, with Jackson still dealing with a knee injury.

Here are all of our top touchdown scorer bets for Sunday’s slate of games. And let’s take a closer look at Dolphins vs. Bills.

Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bet Predictions: Dolphins vs. Bills

Millions of dollars will get bet on these games. However, which touchdown prop bets should you bet? Let’s take a look.

Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills

Dolphins First TD Scorer: Jeff Wilson Jr. (+320)

In the Week 15 matchup between these two teams the Dolphins scored 29 points. However, their offense that day won’t be the same as the one that takes the field on Sunday. Tagovailoa won’t play, while Raheem Mostert is dealing with a thumb injury and is trending toward not playing. Therefore, Wilson will have a featured role against Buffalo. The first Miami touchdown in the two previous matchups against the Bills this season was by a running back. Furthermore, a Dolphins running back has scored the team’s first touchdown in 35.3% of the games this season. Meanwhile, the first touchdown scored against Buffalo has been by a running back in nearly half of the games this year.

Bills First TD Scorer: Dawson Knox (+750)

While Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen are the faces of Buffalo’s offense, Knox plays a critical role when they get in the red zone. The veteran tight end has six touchdowns this season. Three were the first offensive touchdown of the game for the Bills, including last week against the New England Patriots. Furthermore, Knox has three touchdowns in his past three playoff games, including two in the Wild Card round last year. More importantly, he has a touchdown in two of the past three matchups against Miami, including in Week 15. Meanwhile, a tight end has scored the first touchdown against the Dolphins in 29.4% of the games this season, including in two of the past four weeks.

Anytime TD Scorer: James Cook (+205)

The rookie running back has earned more of a role with the team lately, playing a career-high 56% of the offensive snaps last week. More importantly, Cook has scored a touchdown in two of the past three games, including the Week 15 matchup against Miami. In that game, Cook and Nyheim Hines had a receiving touchdown. Meanwhile, the Dolphins surrendered six receiving touchdowns to running backs this season, the most in the NFL. Hines at +650 to score is also a solid bet. He had two kickoff returns for a touchdown last week and could get in the end zone on offense as he did in Week 15.
