The post-All-Star Game push is underway as we get closer to the playoffs. We have three games featuring at least one current playoff team with some favorable matchups. Here are my top picks. Below is a closer look at Ducks vs. Canucks.

Also, take a look at our other best bets for Wednesday:

Ducks vs. Canucks

  • Leg 1: Canucks ML (-210)
  • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-105)
  • Leg 3: OVER 4.5 Total Canucks Goals (+170)

The Canucks threw up the white flag on the season when they traded Bo Harvat. They remained busy during the trade deadline by unloading Riley Stillman, Luke Schenn, and Curtis Lazar.

They still have some dynamic forwards, including Elias Pettersson with 30 goals and Andrei Kuzmenko and J.T. Miller each with 56 points. It’s been the inconsistent goaltending that has hurt them all season.

The Ducks were also sellers during the deadline, but we knew they would be. This team has been at the bottom in offense and defense throughout the year. Trevor Zegras is someone they hope to build around, and although Troy Terry is struggling after having 37 goals last season, he should be in their plans.

The Ducks have a couple of recent upset wins against the Hurricanes and Capitals, but both came when they had rest days. I like the Canucks to grab a win with the Ducks on the second leg of a back-to-back.
