Elena Rybakina: 2023 French Open Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
For as much as Rafael Nadal has dominated the menâs side of the French Open with 14 career titles, there has been much more parity on the womenâs side. The second major of the season begins on May 28, with the womenâs final taking place on June 10. Roland Garros has celebrated eight different womenâs champions in the last nine years, with Iga Swiatek (2020, 2022) the only repeat winner in that span. That is much of the reason Swiatek is the overwhelming odds-on favorite to win her fourth Grand Slam, as she looks to capitalize on the void left by Ashleigh Barty and Serena Williams as the next most dominant player in womenâs tennis. Is a third title at Roland Garros a formality at this point for Swiatek, or will the tournamentâs parity result in yet another unforeseen winner? Read on for our thoughts and predictions for the top contenders at the 2023 French Open.

2023 French Open Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Elena Rybakina
Here is our betting outlook for the 2023 French Open.
2023 French Open Betting Predictions
It may not be long until Elena Rybakina claims the No. 1 world ranking. Rybakina was runner-up at the Australian Open, and also finished second in Miami while adding a title at Indian Wells to her resume. In addition, her clay-court confidence should be at an all-time high thanks to her win in Rome, which involved her taking a set off Swiatek before the world No. 1 had to retire. Rybakinaâs powerful serve and heavy groundstrokes are usually considered more of a weapon on grass and hard court surfaces, but those parts of her arsenal were on full display in her Italian Open finals victory over Anhelina Kalinina when she blasted 21 winners in an injury-shortened match.
2023 French Open Betting Advice & Picks
If Swiatek is in a tier of her own as far as top contenders to win this yearâs French Open, Rybakina should be considered the top choice from the second tier. Rybakina would almost assuredly be favored over whoever she faced in the finals if she won her potential semifinal match against Swiatek.
