2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions (Saturday)

As we await the Finals of the FIBA World Cup, we’ll have the 5th and 7th place games on the schedule for Saturday.

Slovenia will take on Italy for 7th place, while Lithuania will take on Latvia for 5th place in the Fiba World Cup.

I’ve got some player props to consider for Saturday’s slate.

Saturday’s Best FIBA World Cup Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of  FanDuel Sportsbook)

Jonas Valanciunas (Lithuania) Over 15.5 Points (-115)

Jonas Valanciunas has scored 14.7 points per game while hitting 61.9% of shots. He’s only attempted nine field goals per game. However, he just went 8-for-15 against Slovenia in his last game.

Valanciunas got some easy looks around the rim and scored 24 points in that game. No one took more than eight shots in the starting lineup for Lithuania other than Valanciunas, who took 15. If the volume continues, Valanciuas should easily get to at least 16 points.

Rokas Jokubaitis (Lithuania) Over 6.5 Assists (-115)

Rokas Jokubaitis is 10th in the FIBA World Cup with 6.4 assists per game. However, he just added eight assists in 23 minutes despite taking seven shots in their last game against Slovenia. He only saw 23 minutes in that game, but he’s averaging about 25 minutes per game.

I’d like to imagine that Lithuania will play in a more challenging game where it won’t be an absolute blowout against Lithuania. If that’s the case, Jokubaitis should be on the court long enough to earn at least seven assists.

Lithuania has shot at a ridiculous pace all tournament long. That helps Jokubaitis’ assists numbers.

Andrejs Grazulis (Latvia) Over 13.5 Points (-120)

Grazulis took over in Latvia’s last matchup against Italy. He added 28 points on 12-for-13 from the floor. He also hit 3-for-3 from downtown and played a team-high 33 minutes.

Grazulis has become the top guy in the Latvia offense heading into this matchup against Lithuania. He’s added 14.7 points per game and has hit nearly 64% from the field throughout the tournament.

Let’s back him to score at least 14 points in this game.

Rolands Smits (Latvia) Under 4.5 Rebounds (-135)

Although Rolands Smits has averaged 4.1 rebounds per game while playing 23.4 minutes a night against Italy, he earned just two rebounds in 28 minutes last time out. He wasn’t very engaged in the game.

His box score was weak, with six points, two assists, and two rebounds after taking just five shots in 28 minutes. He’s averaged about one offensive rebound per game, but Smits is mainly a three-point shooter and won’t always be in the paint fishing for rebounds.

The rebounds will likely fall into Grazulis’ hands. Rodions Kurucs and Davis Bertans are two much better rebounders than Smits. Take his Under.
