Florida State vs. Clemson

I’ve never been the biggest Will Shipley supporter when it comes to the NFL Draft. However, we’re not betting on where he’s getting selected. We’re betting on whether he can score a touchdown or not against Florida State, and I think it’s very possible this weekend. 

For starters, the Seminoles are allowing 123.0 rushing yards allowed per game. There should be plenty of chances for Shipley to get going on the ground. After all, he did put over 110 rushing yards in a 28-7 loss to Duke in Week 1 of the season. Meanwhile, Shipley is one season removed from 15 rushing touchdowns. Even though he hasn’t run for a touchdown this year, streaks are meant to be broken, and this weekend seems as good as ever to get going on the ground.

In addition, the Seminoles have also given up five rushing touchdowns this season. During Shipley’s career against Florida State, he’s ran for 249 yards on 45 carries and two touchdowns. Add in his 10 receptions for 72 yards, and there’s potential for him to find the end zone for the first time this season.
