MLB Best Bets
Minnesota Twins (-172) vs. Kansas City Royals (+144) | O/U 9.5 (-110/-110)
While some may be concerned about Sonny Grayâs 14 consecutive starts without a victory and not earning a win since April, half of his previous ten starts have been quality starts. And though he has pitched to a 4.78 ERA over his last five appearances, three came against the best teams in each league (Atlanta and Baltimore). Gray largely earned an All-Star appearance on a back of a tremendous first month and his continued success against weaker AL Central opponents, as he has pitched to a much tidier 2.66 ERA in seven starts against divisional rivals this year.
Grayâs 2.90 FIP is on pace to be his best since his rookie year in 2013, and he owns a league-best 0.2 HR/9 rate. He has also held current Kansas City Royals hitters to a .187/.229/.266 slash line in 91 combined at-bats (with 25.2% of outs coming via strikeouts).
Meanwhile, his counterpart, Brady Singer, has allowed a .324/.439/.607 slash line over 68 at-bats to current Minnesota Twins hitters. Singerâs 4.20 FIP is on pace to be the worst of his career, as are his 10.3 H/9 and 7.5 K/9 rates. Minnesota is 9-4 SU in its last 13 games (+4.60 units, 25% ROI), but we are opting for more value with the runline, as it is 10-11 against the runline in 21 games as road favorites, which is much better than its 20-28 runline record as home favorites.
Pick: Twins -1.5 (-104)

Big 3 Best Bets
3 Headed Monsters vs. Ghost Ballers
The 3 Headed Monsters have only won one game in the regular season. They'll have one more chance to earn another win in the regular season of the Big3 this weekend. The 3 Headed Monsters lost to the Ball Hogs. 51-42 after a fragile second half. Reggie Evans, Rashard Lewis, and Kevin Murphy have done all the scoring. But only Evans has a shooting percentage above 42% out of those three players. They'll take on the Ghost Ballers, who have gone 3-2 in the Big3. The Ghost Ballers lost to Power last weekend but have four players shooting .500 or better through five games. Mike Taylor has added 79 points and has shot over 57% from deep. I've got the Ghost Ballers in this one.
Pick: Ghost Ballers -3 (-120)

TBT Best Bets
India Rising vs. Carmenâs Crew
Carmen's Crew earned an 80-68 win over Team Overtime in the first round. Notable names like Kaleb Wesson and Keith Wesson, along with Kyle Young, all contributed at a high level to Carmen's Crew. They've got 10 players that they're comfortable with playing. But as the tournament starts to shrink, that rotation will likely shrink too. They'll face India Rising, who had the biggest shocker of the Tournament so far. India Rising defeated Red Scare, 77-67, as significant underdogs. Tajinder Lall scored 26 points and added five rebounds. Meanwhile, Jaz Bains and Venkatesha Jois added some excellent minutes while on the floor. But the talent gap still seems drastic in this matchup. I love Cinderella stories, but Carmen's Crew has way more talent.
Pick: Carmenâs Crew -7.5 (-115)
WNBA Best Bets
Chicago Sky vs. Seattle Storm
The Seattle Storm have struggled all season long without Breanna Stewart to lead them. Without Stewart, the Storm have lost a lot of their identity. That is a large part of why they are currently 4-19. Until the Storm can start winning, bettors need to avoid them.
The Chicago Sky has been the more consistent of these two teams. They have still had moments when they struggled. The last time these two teams played, the Sky won 90-75. That means the Sky have the advantage because they have won before this season and recently.
Bet: Chicago Sky -4.5 Points (-110 @ DraftKings)
