New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings

How are the Vikings still winning football games? They started the season 0-3. Star WR Justin Jefferson was placed on Injured Reserve (IR), and then QB Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending injury. Somehow, the Vikings are 5-4 and currently hold a playoff spot in the NFC. This team is playing some inspiring football right now, and new QB Joshua Dobbs has a lot to do with that after his incredible performance against the Falcons while barely knowing any of the team’s plays. This team isn’t giving up on the season, and now Jefferson has returned to the practice field – giving this team even more confidence and motivation.

Conversely, the Saints have not looked very impressive this season. QB Derek Carr is struggling to throw the ball downfield to receivers, as this offense operates near the line of scrimmage. If the Vikings can contain Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill in the run game, they should be able to control this game at home.

If you can get +3.0 by Sunday, that would be great. Still, I like the Vikings as home underdogs here, as this team is motivated to win.

Bet: Vikings +2.5 (-102)

NBA Best Bets

Minnesota Timberwolves @ San Antonio Spurs

Victor Wembanyama is the most-hyped prospect since LeBron James, and he has taken the league by storm. He’s already had a 38-point game and has proven that he can score. That includes shooting the ball from deep. His scoring ability makes this a great first leg of our parlay.

Everyone should be watching Anthony Edwards. I love how Edwards plays because he can score the basketball. The Timberwolves face the Spurs, who are awful on defense. That lack of defense will give Edwards plenty of chances to score.

Additionally, the lack of defense means players will have many opportunities to shoot the ball, and Rudy Gobert is the perfect play to take advantage of those opportunities. He is tall and athletic, and his No. 1 responsibility is to rebound the basketball. That means he will be grabbing boards tonight.

Parlay Odds: +480

College Football Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

#13 Utah Utes @ #5 Washington Huskies

  • Leg 1: Washington -8.5 (-114)
  • Leg 2: Michael Penix Jr. Under 279.5 Passing Yards (-114)
  • Leg 3: Dillon Johnson Over 81.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Washington has played some competitive games recently, but they’ve been able to come out on top as they remain unbeaten. Utah has taken a couple of bad losses where we saw the offense struggle. Just a couple of weeks ago, the defense gave up 35 points at home against Oregon, and now they face Washington, who were able to out-muscle the Ducks on offense. The Huskies’ defense isn’t as good as once perceived, but facing Utah, they should hold them down.

Utah is still one of the best defenses in the conference. Despite giving up over 60 points to Oregon and USC combined, they did pretty well against those quarterbacks. Each of them came with a balanced attack; even USC did more running than they normally do. That’s the game plan you need to have going into this game. So, while Michael Penix Jr. should put up some great stats, he won’t approach this total.

That balanced attack should see the Washington ground game get going. Dillon Johnson has been getting the ball much more during conference play, with 16 or more carries in four of five games. In those four games, he’s gone over this number every time.

Total Parlay: +561
