- Leg 1: Desmond Bane Over 18.5 Points (-116)
- Leg 2: Donte DiVincenzo Under 11.5 Points (-128)
- Leg 3: Desmond Bane Over 2.5 Assists (-172)
Desmond Bane is back!
Bane returned after a six-week absence. He played 24 minutes against the Suns and still attempted eight threes. He scored 17 points on 30.8% shooting and added two assists and three rebounds. Those numbers will start to skyrocket as he gets more comfortable on the floor. He’s going to build up every single game.
Bane has scored at least 19 points in 69% of games this year. He took 13 shots in 24 minutes for Memphis. When he’s on the floor, he will get his shots up. And they’ll fall at a higher clip moving forward. He’s also hit three assists in 77% of his games this season. Bane’s numbers are low because of fewer minutes and more uncertainty. But we saw him do all of this before his injury. Bane is an all-star caliber player that deserves to be treated like one by oddsmakers.
Also, don’t jump on the Donte DiVincenzo hype train. He had three straight games with at least 15 points but then had just five points in 33 minutes against the Raptors. He will not always be the offense’s focal point and won’t go off on Christmas Day. He’s hit 12 points in just 17% of games this season. He’s a bench player.
