Iga Swiatek: 2023 French Open Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
For as much as Rafael Nadal has dominated the menâs side of the French Open with 14 career titles, there has been much more parity on the womenâs side. The second major of the season begins on May 28, with the womenâs final taking place on June 10. Roland Garros has celebrated eight different womenâs champions in the last nine years, with Iga Swiatek (2020, 2022) the only repeat winner in that span. That is much of the reason Swiatek is the overwhelming odds-on favorite to win her fourth Grand Slam, as she looks to capitalize on the void left by Ashleigh Barty and Serena Williams as the next most dominant player in womenâs tennis. Is a third title at Roland Garros a formality at this point for Swiatek, or will the tournamentâs parity result in yet another unforeseen winner? Read on for our thoughts and predictions for the top contenders at the 2023 French Open.

2023 French Open Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Iga Swiatek
Here is our betting outlook for the 2023 French Open.
2023 French Open Betting Predictions
Given how wide open womenâs tennis has been recently, it is eye-opening to see any player without plus-money odds at the start of a tournament. The last player (man or woman) we saw as such a big favorite at a major was Novak Djokovic at this yearâs Australian Open, but that is understandable considering this yearâs victory was his tenth. However, last year Swiatek became the first woman to win two or more Grand Slams in the same year since Angelique Kerber did it in 2016. And Swiatek was not particularly challenged at Roland Garros last year, dropping just one set in seven matches, and winning all but one set 6-3 or better.
2023 French Open Betting Advice & Picks
We would not put anyone off backing Swiatek to win a third French Open title, but one is probably better off betting her moneyline each match and rolling the winnings into each future match, as that would likely return more of a profit than her pre-tournament -125 odds, especially if the tournament goes mostly chalk.
