Indiana Hoosiers vs. Michigan Wolverines Odds & Game Pick (2021)
The Big Ten East has been quite the roller coaster ride this season, as it entered last week with three undefeated (in-conference) teams all still jockeying for position atop the standings. At the bottom, the Hoosiers remain the only winless team in the conference, at 2-6 overall.
Letâs take a look at two teams in the East who are having decidedly different seasons.

Overview
After a 2020 that was one of the best in program history, things have taken a sharp turn south for the Indiana Hoosiers. Coming off their closest to a win in-conference game of the season so far, a 35-38 loss at Maryland, the Hoosiers are still in search of that first Big Ten W, and the road gets tough from here.
With incumbent QB starter Michael Penix out for the season and backup Jack Tuttle now out, freshman Donaven McCulley has been left to pick up the pieces and will likely get the start again in this one.
For the Wolverines, CFP dreams were all but in reach before a trip to East Lansing last week and a 37-33 loss to their rival Michigan State Spartans. Making matters worse, they held a 16-point lead into the second half but couldnât get the offense going as they did in the first.
In the loss, Wolverineâs quarterback Cade McNamara threw for 383 yards and two touchdowns but was injured and had to leave the game in the fourth quarter.

- Over has gone 6-1 in Wolverines L7 November games
Bottom Line
Averaging a Big Ten best 239.9 yards on the ground per game, the Wolverines make it no surprise what theyâre going to do each week. Even with last weekâs loss, they remain #7 in the CFP standings, and their season is anything but lost.
In this one, I expect a concerted effort from the Wolverines as they look to get back on track and beat up on an ailing Hoosiers team who has likely thrown in the towel already on the season.
Pick: Wolverines -20
