(8) Iowa vs. (9) Auburn

Leg 1 - Over 151.5 (-110)

This game is a true toss-up, but I like the Over more than anything else to start this parlay off.

Opponents shot 36.6% from downtown and 52.6% from inside the arc against Iowa this year. Auburn doesn’t have the most intriguing offense this season; they lost a lot of talent to the NBA. But Iowa’s defense is usually questionable, especially away from home.

The Tigers have earned 33.3% of offensive rebounds and usually get to the foul line at a high rate. Iowa doesn’t foul much, but Auburn will get some calls regardless.

On the other hand, Auburn is getting absolutely destroyed on the defensive glass. Iowa should have significant success and earn many second chances against Auburn. The Tigers have also fouled at an extremely high rate, and if Iowa gets to the foul line at a high pace, that’ll be helpful since Iowa has hit foul shots at nearly 74% this season.

Leg 2 - Kris Murray Over 19.5 Points (-111)

Auburn’s a good defense this year. The Tigers have held teams to 28.8% from three and 46.9% from inside the arc. But there are always those couple of stars that just can’t be stopped no matter what.

That’s Kris Murray.

Murray averaged 20.4 points per game this season while shooting over 48% from the field. He’s had success on the offensive glass, rarely turns the ball over, and has shot nearly 60% from inside the arc this season.

Before Iowa lost against Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament, Murray scored at least 22 points in his previous three games. In a game, I expect to go over the total. Take Murray to score at least 20 points.

Leg 3 - Johni Broome Over 15.5 Points (-122)

Broome has only averaged 14 points per game for Auburn this season. But he’s got a solid matchup against Iowa here.

He’s shot 52.9% from inside the arc this season and will rarely take threes. Inside the arc, Iowa has allowed teams to shoot 52.6%. Broom will get at least ten looks around the rim. He struggled at the foul line against Arkansas in the second round of the SEC Tournament, but overall, he’s usually much better than 1-for-6 from the foul line. Look for him to correct those misses and get back on track in this one.
