Jaguars vs. Chiefs: 2023 NFL Divisional Round Touchdown Scorer Player Prop Bet Picks (Saturday)

The Divisional Round of the playoffs kicks off on Saturday with two exciting matchups. The first contest is between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams faced off in Week 10, with the Chiefs winning 27-17. Since that matchup, the Jaguars have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning seven of eight games, including six straight.

In the second game Saturday, we have a matchup of NFC East division rivals as the New York Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles. These two teams faced off twice during the regular season contests, with the Eagles winning both matchups. In Week 14, they won 48-22 in New York. The second matchup was Week 18 in a meaningless game for the Giants. They sat several starters, including Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. Yet, Philadelphia barely pulled out the victory, 22-16.

Millions of dollars will get bet on these games. However, which touchdown prop bets should you bet? Let’s take a look.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Jaguars First TD Scorer: Evan Engram (TE) +700

Last week the Jaguars had to claw their way out of an ugly first half to get the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Engram kick-started the comeback, scoring the first Jacksonville touchdown right before halftime. More importantly, the veteran tight end scored the first Jaguars touchdown in 17.7% of the games during the regular season, including two of the final six contests. Meanwhile, the Chiefs surrendered nine receiving touchdowns to tight ends during the regular season, the fifth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, a tight end scored the first touchdown against Kansas City in two of their past four games.

Chiefs First TD Scorer: Jerick McKinnon (RB) +450

Over the final six weeks of the regular season, McKinnon was a scoring machine. The veteran running back had nine touchdowns during that span, scoring the first Kansas City touchdown in four contests. Furthermore, he had the opening Chiefs score in nearly a third of the games during the regular season. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have struggled to keep opposing running backs out of the end zone this year. Last week they surrendered two touchdowns to Austin Ekeler, including the first score of the game. More importantly, the first touchdown scored against Jacksonville was by a running back in four of the final seven games of the regular season.

Anytime TD Scorer: Christian Kirk (WR – JAC) +150

Kirk was one of several Jacksonville off-season additions that paid off for the team. The veteran receiver led the Jaguars with eight receiving touchdowns during the regular season. More importantly, he has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games, averaging 11 targets per contest during the span. Furthermore, Kirk had his best performance of the year in Week 10 against the Chiefs, totaling nine receptions for 105 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Meanwhile, Kansas City gave up 20 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers during the regular season, the second-most in the NFL.
