Real Betis vs. Celta Vigo
In recent times, Real Betis has persisted in having consistency issues. Following a close loss to Getafe, amongst the worst teams in La Liga, the Green and Whites were defeated 2-1 by Barcelona on Wednesday.
Now, Betis will play Celta Vigo, who enters the contest after defeating Bilbao 1-0. Due mostly to their better firepower off the bench, I anticipate Betis will defeat their opponents in this one.
Since their 3-0 victory against Cadiz in September, Celta hasn’t been able to score more than once in a game. In contrast, their recent decline in defensive performance will likely give Betis more opportunities to score. Betis rolls in this one.

Elche vs. Villareal
Two foes on opposite ends of the table will face off at Elche on Saturday, as Villareal comes to town. Currently sitting at fifth on the table with 31 points, Villareal needs a strong second half of the season to get into the coveted top four, punching their ticket to next season’s Champions League.
On the other end, Elche comes into the week by far the worst team in the league, still yet to pick up a win through 19 matches. Their goal differential of -27 is also the worst in La Liga, by a margin of 13 goals to their next closest opponent.
In desperate need of a win following a loss last week to Rayo Vallecano, Villareal gets it done here.
