- Leg 1: Luka Doncic Over 32.5 Points (-106)
- Leg 2: Patrick Beverley Under 6.5 Points (-122)
- Leg 3: Spencer Dinwiddie Over 4.5 Assists (-138)
The Los Angeles Lakers won’t have Anthony Davis on the court in the near future. But the pressure is still on this team regarding making the postseason. The Lakers can’t waste another year of LeBron James.
Therefore, the Lakers likely won’t match Luka Doncic on the road. Doncic has scored 32.8 points per game this season and has a point total sitting at 32.5 on a Christmas game. Doncic has hit 33 or more points in 60% of games this year and with the way the Lakers have defended this year, he’ll more than likely go over that total.
Meanwhile, Pat Beverley has scored just 5.6 points per game. He’s not a scoring threat for the Lakers. Instead, he’s shooting 37.6% from the field while playing over 26 minutes a night. Beverley has added at least nine points in his last four games. But on Christmas Day, with the pressure on, other guys will have to step up while Beverley looks to defend.
Beverley will be defending the guards, including Spencer Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie has averaged 5.7 assists in the month and has played over 32 minutes. He’s also hit five assists in 63% of games and the Lakers are 25th in the NBA in assists allowed.
