Lions at Cowboys SGP

  • Leg 1: Dak Prescott 275+ Passing Yards (-160)
  • Leg 2: CeeDee Lamb 80+ Receiving Yards (-280)
  • Leg 3: Jake Ferguson Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Leg 4: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 80.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)

Dak Prescott is having an outstanding season slinging the pigskin. He’s done his best work at home. According to Pro-Football-Reference, Prescott has averaged 303.6 passing yards per game in seven starts at home this season.

He should be busy chucking it in this contest. According to RotoViz’s pace app, Detroit’s opponents have had a 66% situation-neutral pass rate since Week 13, tied for the second-highest mark. FantasyPros is projecting Prescott to have 280.8 passing yards against the Lions tonight.

CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson should be on the receiving end of many of Prescott’s passes.  Dallas’s No. 1 receiver is averaging 94.9 receiving yards per game this season, with a median of 77. Lamb is averaging 104.0 receiving yards per game at home, clearing 80 in four of seven games at home this season. He’s projected to torch the Lions for 94.1 receiving yards.

Ferguson has been Dallas’s second-best pass-catching weapon lately. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), the second-year tight end was third on the team in routes (137) and second in targets (28), receptions (21) and receiving yards (238) since Week 13.

Ferguson has exceeded 48.5 receiving yards in his previous two home games. He has a cushy matchup tonight. According to The 33rd Team, the Lions have permitted tight ends 68 receiving yards per game since Week 13. Ferguson can take advantage of the matchup and is projected to have 51.1 receiving yards against Detroit.

Jahmyr Gibbs should also shine in this game. The Cowboys are only a week removed from getting steamrolled by Buffalo’s rushing attack. In the last four weeks, running backs have flamed the Cowboys for 119 rushing yards per game, 4.8 yards per carry, 2.3 receptions per game and 28 receiving yards per game.

Gibbs will share the backfield with David Montgomery. Yet, the dynamic rookie has a game-script-proof role as the superior receiver. Since Week 13, Gibbs has toted the rock 45 times for 306 rushing yards (76.5 per game) and 6.8 yards per carry. He also ran 72 routes versus 42 for Montgomery. Gibbs turned his route participation into 15 targets, 10 receptions (2.5 per game), and 38 receiving yards (9.5 per game).

In a probable back-and-forth shootout, Gibbs can pile up scrimmage yards. He’s projected to have 82.9 scrimmage yards tonight.
