LIV Golf Series Bangkok Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)
The sixth tournament in the 2022 LIV Golf Series is now upon us as we travel to Bangkok, Thailand for this week’s competition. The freshly opened Stonehill Golf Course will serve as the tournament’s venue from Friday to Sunday. As in previous occasions, there will be a total prize pool of $20 million, with $5 million going to the victorious team. The event’s victor will take $4 million in cash with them when they depart Thailand.
Dustin Johnson, who won the LIV Boston event in September, is back this week as the clear favorite at +450, closely followed by recent LIV arrival Cameron Smith (+500). Last month, Smith also triumphed in his first LIV competition, taking home the LIV Chicago crown and more than $5 million in total earnings.

How to Watch
The streaming provider DAZN will once again serve as the venue for this week’s LIV event, as we have seen over the past few weeks. LIV Bangkok, which takes place from October 7 (Friday) to October 10 (Sunday), will have a shotgun start, meaning that each player will tee off simultaneously for premier viewing action.
DAZN requires a subscription and may be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It is streamed in more than 200 countries across the world. The activity can also be hosted by streaming devices like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecasts, and others.
The event will also, as always be streamed on YouTube and LIV’s official website.
Course Preview: Stonehill Golf Course
Stonehill, a brand-new course that is already among the most exclusive in all of Thailand, is situated just north of Bangkok. The fairways and greens are larger than what golfers are used to seeing on the PGA Tour, as we see in many resort courses.
Little is known about the course because it is so recent, yet the field is as open as it can be because there is no course history.
Outright Betting Pick
Joaquin Niemann (+1600 via FanDuel Sportsbook)
Since all of the big names have had success with LIV so far, I believe Niemann should take the top spot this week as next in line. Niemann placed third and fourth in his first two LIV Golf starts, respectively. He lost in his Boston debut a month ago by a single shot, but he still possesses all the necessary skills to be successful in this industry.
Niemann came second to Smith in overall strokes gained during the most recent PGA Tour season, but he led all LIV Golfers in strokes gained from the tee to the green and ball striking outside of Smith. He also finished third this season overall in birdies or better gained, which bodes well for his future success at LIV.
