MLB Betting Systems Picks & Predictions: Friday (10/18)

Tonight might be the final time we’ll have multiple baseball games on the television until next year.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are one win away from earning a World Series berth. Meanwhile, the Yankees and Guardians will head to Game 4 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS), with the Yankees currently up 2-1 in the series.

With so much hype surrounding the night, here are a few system bets that you’ll want to consider for tonight in the MLB Playoffs.

Friday’s Best MLB Betting System Plays

Here are our top plays of the day from the popular MLB betting systems at BettingPros.

MLB Jus Under Hits

The “MLB Jus Under Hits” system has added a 5.4% return on investment (ROI) with over 6,300 bets throughout the year. The system has won more than 60% of the time and has brought in 340.65 units of profit.

Ultimately, this system just looks at players who have failed to go over their hit prop 10+ times over the last 15 games.

I’m eying Austin Wells, just like we did on Tuesday. Wells has hit a .000 ISO and wOBA of .112 over the last 30 days against righties. He’ll take on Gavin Williams, who has held 174 lefties this season to a .126 ISO and wOBA of .287. It’s unlikely Wells will have a good day at the plate.

Let’s back his under on hits one more time.

  • Austin Wells Under 0.5 Hits (+115)

Doctors No Run v2

The “Doctors No Run v2” is another system that has added a ton of profit throughout the season. It’s earned a 5.07% ROI and has earned a win percentage of 71% on 4,460 wagers.

That said, there are a lot of system inputs for this one.

The player’s odds in runs need to be between -300 to -124. The player also can’t have hit the over in runs more than 10% of the time. Additionally, a player has had to go under his run prop in at least four of his last five games, eight of his last 10 games, 12 of his last 15 games and 16 of his last 20 games.

Will Brennan fits the criteria tonight.

Brennan has shown no power against righties over the last 30 days. He’s also walked only 3.7% of the time in the previous 30 days. Beyond that, Brennan has hit 50% of ground balls against righties in the last month and has added only 13.6% of fly balls. He doesn’t match up well against Luis Gil, who has added 30.8% of strikeouts against righties over the last month.

  • Will Brennan Under 0.5 Runs (-275)

MLB Runs – Under (5% ROI)

The final system play is another under on runs. This system looks for costs at -200 to +250 and selects players who have gone under the run prop in four of the last five games, eight of the last 10 and five of the last 15.

Freddie Freeman sticks out tonight.

The left-handed All-Star has an ankle injury that has hurt his potential on the basepaths. But beyond that, he’s hit a .105 ISO and wOBA of .321 with zero walks against lefties over the last month.

The Mets will begin the game with David Peterson, who has held his last 29 lefties to a .000 ISO and wOBA of .232. Eventually, the Mets will likely give the ball to Kodai Senga. But we’ll worry about that when the time comes. After all, Freeman has hit a .025 ISO and wOBA of .285 against righties in the last 30 days, too.

Take his under, per the system. It’s unlikely he’ll even get on base.

  • Freddie Freeman Under 0.5 Runs (-185)
