MLB Betting Systems Picks: Tuesday (Guardians vs. Yankees)

There’s one game on the MLB slate tonight, and it’s a good one.

The New York Yankees look to add to their 1-0 lead in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) tonight. Here are three system plays that you’ll want to consider for tonight’s ALCS Game 2.

Tuesday’s Best MLB Betting System Plays

Here are our top plays of the day from the popular MLB betting systems at BettingPros.

MLB Jus Higher Stakes

The ‘MLB Jus Higher Stakes” system has a 6.4% return on investment (ROI) on 6,187 bets this season. It’s added nearly 397 units of profit despite a 48.5% win rate.

This system considers players going under their hits market at -131 to +200 odds. It also requires a player to hit the hits prop line no more than five times over the last 15 games.

Austin Wells of the Yankees has been ice-cold lately. Against his last 42 righties, Wells has hit a .000 ISO and a wOBA of .123 with 23.8% of strikeouts. Even when he puts the ball in play, Wells has struggled to earn solid contact.

He’s hit 48% of grounders and only 16% of fly balls. He’s also added a 32% hard contact rate and only 20% of line drives. Against Tanner Bibee, don’t expect Austin Wells to get a hit tonight. Take the Under 0.5 Hits at +115 odds.

  • Austin Wells Under 0.5 Hits (+115)

BENJI TB System

This system has added a 2.7% ROI through 12,398 bets this season. It’s added 338.45 units of profit and a 58.7% win percentage throughout the year.

While three bets fit the criteria, I’m considering Bo Naylor to go under 0.5 total bases. After all, the system outputs for this system include a player needing to cost -200 to +150 and have hit the over on total bases prop fewer than 30% of the time this season.

In addition, a player can’t have hit the total bases prop in more than eight games throughout the last 20.

Bo Naylor might be a lefty going up against Gerrit Cole (a righty), but he’s hit a .081 ISO and wOBA of .171 with 32.5% of strikeouts against righties over the last month. That won’t get the job done against most pitchers. But against Cole? Forget about it.

  • Bo Naylor Under 0.5 Total Bases (-155)

Underdo Over on K’s

The “Underdog Over on K’s” system has hit 58.8% of the time and has earned a 7.7% ROI. It’s added 34.02 units of profit on 439 wagers this season.

Ultimately, this system considers pitchers listed as underdogs and backs the over on strikeouts between a strikeout line of 3.0 and 6.5.

The pitcher must have hit this line in at least 35% of games throughout the season, in five of the last 10 and in 12 of the previous 20 starts.

Tanner Bibee will get the start for the Guardians as an underdog. The righty has struck out 23.6% of batters over the last 30 days and has added 26.2% of strikeouts throughout the season.

He’ll face a Yankees lineup with six batters who have struck out at least 23.8% of the time against righties. With six targets and lots of consistency, I like Bibee to earn at least five strikeouts. Let’s follow this system with a Bibee strikeout play.

  • Tanner Bibee Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-125)
