MLB Divisional Series Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (10/11)

All day, we’ll have some MLB action in the Divisional Series.

The MLB has scheduled all four Divisional Series games throughout the day. The Phillies and Braves will lead us off at 1:08 pm ET, while the Mariners vs. Astros game will follow. The Guardians and Yankees will take center stage after, and then the night will conclude with the Padres vs. Dodgers.

I’ve put together multiple same-game parlays for today’s action. Let us know if you’re tailing.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves

  • Leg 1: Travis d’Arnaud 2+ Total Bases (+130)
  • Leg 2: William Contreras 2+ Total Bases (0+110)
  • Leg 3: Orlando Arcia 1+ Hit (-155)

The Phillies already used Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola in the Wild Card series. Now they’re forced to use Ranger Suarez in today’s matchup against the Braves.

Suarez has had a solid season, but he’s fallen off recently. In the last 30 days, Suarez has had a 5.27 xFIP. He’s only struck out 16.3% of batters, and he’s walked 8.7%.

Lefties are hitting a .395 wOBA with an ISO of .357 in Suarez’s last 15 plate appearances against them. Meanwhile, his previous 77 righties faced a .332 wOBA and ISO of .243.

Over that same time frame, some of the right-handed bats in the Braves order have done damage. Travis d’Arnaud has hit a .263 ISO and wOBA of .367 against his last 19 lefties. DH William Contreras has hit a .333 ISO with a wOBA of .523 against his last 25 lefties.

Finally, Orlando Arcia has a .455 wOBA with just 20% of grounders hit, and 40% of line drives hit when balls are put into play against lefties over his last eight at-bats.

Those three Braves are sneaky plays against the left-hander.

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees

  • Leg 1: Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (-105)
  • Leg 2: Gleybar Torres 2+ Total Bases (+130)
  • Leg 3: Giancarlo Stanton 2+ Total Bases (+140)

The Yankees have an exciting matchup against Cal Quantrill tonight. Quantrill hasn’t given up many extra-base hits, but he has an xFIP of 4.76 in the last month. He’s also struck out just 16.7% of batters faced in the previous 30 days.

Over the last 30 days, the Yankees’ lineup has been hitting righties at a much higher rate. Aaron Judge won’t have to worry about any home run record and can swing freely. He’s hit a .383 ISSO and wOBA of .528 over the last 30 days against righties.

Judge has hit over 30% of line drives when he makes contact against righties in the last month.

Gleyber Torres has also hit a .258 ISO and wOBA of .444 against his last 69 right-handers faced. Torres, like Judge, has hit 24.5% of line drives when balls are hit into play over the previous month against righties.

Lastly, Giancarlo Stanton has had a .322 ISO against righties over the last 30 days. He’s also hit nearly 40% of fly balls against righties. Stanton is boom-or-bust right now, as he’s striking out 47% of the time against righties. But Quantrill isn’t a big strikeout guy, leading me to believe Stanton can connect with one.

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Leg 1: Trea Turner 2+ Total Bases (+100)
  • Leg 2: Mookie Betts 2+ Total Bases (+105)
  • Leg 3: Justin Turner 2+ Total Bases  (+150)

Because the Padres played three games in the Wild Card Series, San Diego will pitch Mike Clevinger for tonight’s game.

Clevinger hasn’t looked good analytically, holding a 6.50 xFIP over the last 30 days. Clevinger has struck out just 11.5% of batters faced and rarely induces ground balls.

He’s pitched well enough against lefties, but to righties, he’s allowed a .476 wOBA and ISO of .293 over his last 46 plate appearances against righties.

So let’s stack some righties against him.

Trea Turner has hit a .334 wOBA with low-ground balls, and 22.8% of line drives over the last month against righties. Meanwhile, Mookie Betts has limited strikeouts to 16.2% and usually comes alive in the playoffs.

Justin Turner has also put up some good numbers against righties, hitting 23.7% of line drives with a .360 wOBA over his last 57 plate appearances against righties.

Back the Los Angeles righties against Clevinger tonight.
