The Major League Baseball season is in full swing and we have some exciting matchups on the slate tonight. But, rather than betting sides or totals, I’m taking it to the prop sheet. Here are my top three home run player props!

Paul Goldschmidt (+450)

Hopefully, the Cardinals saved some hits for tonight. They pummeled the visiting Brewers last night, winning 18-1 while recording 16 hits as a team. St. Louis will turn to Jordan Montgomery tonight, while Milwaukee opts for Wade Miley. First pitch is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET from Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO.

Miley is coming off his worst start of the season, where he was tagged for seven earned runs on six hits and two walks against the Dodgers. The poor outing increased his ERA to 3.60 and WHIP to 1.13. The southpaw is currently 3-2 on the season.

He won’t have a favorable matchup tonight against a red-hot Cardinals team that’s won seven of its last eight games. The Red Birds have also owned Miley in his career, slashing .360/.410/.541 against him with four home runs and eight doubles over 111 at-bats. Reigning MVP Paul Goldschmidt is a cool 8-16 (.500) against the lefty with two of those big flies. Let’s back Goldy to leave the yard and pick up his eighth bomb of the season.

Jose Ramirez (+450)

The Guardians hit the road for a six-game road trip featuring stops in Chicago (AL) and New York (NL). They’ll go with Shane Bieber tonight while the White Sox turn to Lance Lynn. This series opener is set for 8:10 p.m. ET from Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, IL.

To be frank, Lynn is having a terrible season. He’s just 1-5 with a 7.51 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. Most recently, the burly right-hander faced the Royals and surrendered seven earned runs on nine hits and two walks. He was saddled with the loss in the 9-1 rout.

He’ll be taking on a Cleveland roster that’s slashing .296/.329/.497 against him over 159 career at-bats. Slugger Jose Ramirez has found plenty of success against him in his career, going 11-32 (.344) with four long balls and two doubles. Tonight’s matchup against Lynn presents a great opportunity for Ramirez to mash his fifth homer of the season. Let’s lock him in at +450.
