Monday's Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Kyle Tucker (+340)
Houstonâs Kyle Tucker hasnât missed a beat since returning from a shin injury a few weeks ago. The All-Star outfielder has slashed .378/.491/.622 with three home runs and two doubles in 14 games played in September. Overall, Tucker has posted a ridiculous 1.117 OPS and tallied 17 homers against right-handed pitching (69 contests). A divisional collision with Seattle righty Bryce Miller gives him a chance to keep rolling at the plate.
Miller has been stellar at home this season, but his numbers take a wild turn on the road. The Mariners hurler has logged a lackluster 4.44 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 14 away starts. What sticks out most is that 15 of the 21 dingers Miller has surrendered have come outside of T-Mobile Park. Tucker has blasted off versus Miller once before and is someone worth backing as Houston aims to lock down yet another American League West title.
Eugenio Suarez (+400)
Tucker isnât the only batter on a hot streak. Eugenio Suarez has been Arizonaâs best power source during their run at a National League Wild Card spot. The 11th-year pro enters Monday with a slash line of .380/.412/.722 to go with eight home runs in September (20 games). Take note that Chase Field is where Suarez thrives, too. He leads the Diamondbacks with 17 homers and 50 RBI in home contests this campaign.
Suarez draws a battle against San Franciscoâs Hayden Birdsong. The rookie has not finished five innings of work in any of his last five road starts, conceding 16 earned runs on 17 hits and 16 walks in that span. Included in that stretch is an 86-mile-per-hour slider left in the strike zone that Suarez promptly deposited 375 feet into the left-field seats. Trust Suarez to provide the spark Arizona needs after a brutal loss on Sunday afternoon.
Seiya Suzuki (+550)
Philadelphiaâs Aaron Nola is one of eight pitchers in the Majors to allow at least 29 home runs in 2024. Of course, pitching in the hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park has an impact on that struggle. The 31-year-old now faces a feisty Cubs lineup on Monday after being tagged for a long ball in 14 of his last 18 starts. Chicago has racked up 19 homers in the last 15 days, which is tied for the sixth-best mark in the sport.
Bettors in search of an underrated option can hitch their wagon to Seiya Suzuki. The Japan native boasts the highest slugging percentage in away games (.541) of any Cub thanks in large part to 13 jacks. He has also recorded a respectable .310/.396/.524 slash line in 11 career clashes versus the Phillies. Playing with nothing to lose means Suzuki can focus on building momentum for 2025. That makes him a dangerous matchup for any pitcher.
