Monday's Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Marcell Ozuna (+360)

This lines up perfectly for slugger Marcell Ozuna. He’s been Atlanta’s greatest power bat at Truist Park this year. The three-time All-Star has slashed .290/.379/.544 with a team-leading 19 home runs across 79 home games played. No one else on the active roster has more than nine blasts in front of Braves fans. Ozuna’s adrenaline will be running high and should help him take advantage of a stellar matchup.

The Mets are handing the ball to right-hander Tylor Megill in the opening portion of the doubleheader. Megill’s sole outing he gave up multiple dingers came when he took on Atlanta in July. Overall, Ozuna is 6-for-12 with two homers and one double versus Megill. Not only that, but Ozuna has gone yard in past clashes with top Mets relievers Edwin Diaz and Ryne Stanek. Back him with confidence.

Francisco Lindor (+470)

Talk about being a warrior. Shortstop Francisco Lindor is battling a back injury and recently told reporters it hurts every time he bends down. However, he returned to the starting lineup on Friday night and is prepared to play. Lindor took it up another notch when he deposited an 86-mile-per-hour splitter 376 feet into the right-field seats for a solo jack against Milwaukee on Sunday.

Lindor has proven time and time again that high-pressure situations do not faze him. He has more home runs in September (56) than any other month throughout his 10-year career. Lindor has been New York’s best producer on the road this campaign. His .284/.345/.519 slash line and 19 home runs in away contests outshine his teammates by a wide margin.

Michael Harris II (+600)

Don’t let Michael Harris’ amazing catches in center field distract from the fact he is on a hot streak at the plate. The 23-year-old has recorded an impressive .967 OPS and tallied 13 extra-base hits during his last 24 games. He has also gotten the best of Mets’ hurlers before. Harris has slashed .308/.308/.500 with six extra-base knocks in 52 at-bats versus pitchers currently on New York’s 28-man roster.

Harris is an underrated option for those searching for a bigger payout. Bettors should also keep an eye on Harris’ odds of smoking a home run in the second contest of the doubleheader. Right-hander Luis Severino is expected to be on the mound if the Mets still need a victory. Harris is 4-for-8 with a homer against Severino. Expect those odds to be revealed following the conclusion of the initial showdown.
