Sunday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Hunter Goodman (+310)

For our first home run prop bet, we head to Coors Field.

Hunter Goodman may not be a name you are familiar with, but he is one of the better hitters in this Rockies lineup.

Early in the 2025 season, the Rockies catcher leads the team in home runs and RBI. Goodman's ISO of .300 is also the highest among everyday starters.

Today, the Rockies have a chance to tee off on A's starter Joey Estes.

Estes got shelled in his first start this year, allowing six earned runs, including three homers.

The A's right-hander relies heavily on two pitches, his fastball and sweeper. While his sweeper is one of his better pitches, and the pitch he relies on as his strikeout pitch, his fastball has not been great.

Estes uses his fastball just north of 50% of the time, but has a stuff+ of 74 on that pitch. FanGraphs uses stuff+ to measure the movement of pitches; the higher the movement, the "nastier" the pitch is. Typically, between 100-110 is average. As you can see, Estes is well below average. It will only worse pitching in Coors Field.

Aaron Judge (+200)

Do I need much reasoning to back one of the greatest home run hitters we have ever seen? Probably not.

But here are a few tidbits for Aaron Judge’s matchup today against lefty Andrew Heaney.

Judge has only faced Heaney 13 times, and has hit only one home run. But four of his six home runs this season have come off of lefties. Judge is batting .500 with two doubles, four homers and 10 RBI against southpaws this season.

That is no fluke.

Last season, Judge batted .311 with eight doubles and 16 home runs in just 132 at-bats against lefties.

When facing a right-handed pitcher, Judge has hit a home run in every 10 at-bats; when facing a lefty, he hits a dinger in every eight at-bats.

Despite a lefty being on the mound, I love this matchup for the Yankees slugger, especially after a 1-for-4 day at the dish yesterday.
