Byron Buxton (+255) & Carlos Correa (+390)
Today's 14-game slate gets underway in Milwaukee as the Brewers play their home opener. They'll host the Twins, who took two of three games from the Royals in their opening series. We have a pitching matchup between Louie Varland and Jakob Junis for this interleague matchup. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET from American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI.
This Twins lineup is very familiar with Jakob Junis thanks to the time he spent in Kansas City. Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa are two guys who would've loved to see Junis stay in the division considering they're a combined 12-20 against him. Buxton is 4-9 (.444) against the right-hander with a pair of bombs, while Correa is an insane 8-11 (.727) with two tanks and a double. Neither player has gone deep yet this season but the duo will have a great opportunity to do so tonight. A bonus is that Milwaukee should have its dome closed, negating the fierce midwest spring weather.
Corey Seager (+270)
The champs are out to a 3-1 start in the new campaign, including last night's 9-3 victory against the Rays. The two sides are back at it tonight with a pitching matchup between Andrew Heaney and Zach Eflin. This American League clash is set for 6:50 p.m. ET from Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, FL.
Eflin got destroyed in his season debut on Thursday, allowing six earned runs over 5.2 innings against the Blue Jays. The right-hander gave up three big flies in the losing effort, which makes him a prime candidate to allow another bomb tonight.
Enter Corey Seager, who's coming off a season where he launched a career-high 33 bombs. Oh, and he missed 43 games. This guy may be the most underrated hitter in the game and he's continued to develop his power. Seager hasn't hit a homer yet this season but he's posted a .462 average out of the gate. Let's play Seager, who's 5-9 (.556) against Elfin with a home run and two doubles.
