Wednesday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

Ketel Marte (+400) & Eugenio Suarez (+750)
Carlos Rodon is making his second start of the season after securing an Opening Day win against the Brewers.
Rodon had an impressive first start, going 5.1 innings, striking out seven and giving up one run - a solo shot to right-hander Vinny Capra.
While the box score favors Rodon, let's not forget the Brewers were league average against lefties a season ago, and it seems like their struggles may carry over to 2025.
Despite losing 4-2, the Brewers did out-hit the Yankees while leaving nine on base. They realistically had multiple chances to score on Rodon and maybe even get the outright win.
Now, Rodon has to face one of the better lineups in baseball, especially against left-handed pitchers.
Against lefties, Arizona ranked first in batting average, on-base percentage (OBP) and wOBA last year, while finishing second in wRC+ and SLG%. Not to mention they hit the second-most (61) home runs against southpaws, trailing only the Dodgers (66).
Leading the charge is none other than Ketel Marte and Eugenio Suárez. Marte led the team in homers against lefties with 18, while Suarez was second with 10.
Rodon relies heavily on his fastball and slider when facing right-handed batters. The good news for us is that Marte had an ISO of .333 last season against fastballs with an exit velocity greater than 100 miles per hour (MPH).
As for Suarez, he had an ISO over .219 on both pitch types with 19 of his 30 home runs coming off either of those pitches. Oh, yeah, and Suarez leads the MLB in home runs in 2025, so we are hoping his hot start continues.
