MLB Home Run Prop Bet Odds & Picks
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Vinnie Pasquantino (+560) & Bobby Witt (+470)
The Kansas City Royals have the 5th highest ISO against right-handed pitchers. Much of that concerns Vinnie Pasquantino and Bobby Witt, both sporting an ISO over .270, with only teammate MJ Melendez having higher (.298).
The Royals will face Blue Jays starter Yariel Rodriguez, who is making his third career start. In two starts this season, Rodriguez is 0-0 with a 2.35 ERA. On the surface, that looks pretty good, but his xERA is 6.57, meaning he may have been a bit lucky over his first two starts. In 7.2 innings pitched, he has given up two earned runs on seven hits, including two HRs.
The problem with Rodriguez is he relies heavily on his fastball and slider. Leaving those two pitchers up in the zone can result in balls leaving the park.
Marcell Ozuna (+390)
Sixto Sanchez is slated to make his first start since 2020. Sanchez has been dealing with injuries over the past few years and has battled his way back onto the Marlins roster. He has appeared in seven games as a reliever, going 0-1 with a 6.14 ERA. Over 7.1 Innings pitched, he has allowed five earned runs on eight hits, including one HR. Itâs not known how long he will be able to last, but this is not an ideal matchup for a pitcher making his first start in four years.
Marcell Ozuna, one of the hottest hitters in the league, has the league lead in HRs (9). Ozuna also leads the league in ISO against right-handed pitchers and has an excellent track record against this Marlins bullpen in case Sanchez gets a quick hook.
