Juan Soto (+520) & Gleyber Torres (+830)

With the way Stephen Vogt has managed this series, Guardians starter Tanner Bibee will most likely only pitch three or four innings, depending on his performance. Vogt has made it known he doesn’t want Aaron Judge or Juan Soto to see the same pitcher twice in a game.

However, in a very small sample, both Soto and Gleyber Torres have had success in their limited at-bats against Bibee.

Soto is 2-for-3 in three while Torres is 2-for-5 with two doubles.

Both starters will be on short rest, something Bibee has little experience with, so he is at a disadvantage coming into tonight’s game.

As mentioned, I don’t think Bibee will last past the fourth inning, putting more pressure on this overworked Cleveland bullpen.

Cleveland’s bullpen was by far the best throughout the regular season, but being used more than usual is starting to wear them down.

Two of the best, Cade Smith and Emmanuel Clase, were nearly unhittable during the regular season but have allowed a combined 12 earned runs in the postseason.

Even if they don’t have a shot to get after Bibee, I like the Yankees hitters to do some damage against a tired, overused Cleveland bullpen.

It’s safe to say Soto and Torres have been two of the hottest hitters in the Yankees’ lineup during their postseason run.
