Friday’s Best MLB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Luis Arraez Over 1.5 Total Bases (-140)

Luis Arraez has hit a .401 wOBA over the last month against righties. He’s also struck out just 4.8% of the time against righties over his last 84 plate appearances against righties.

He’s taking on Dean Kremer of the Orioles tonight. Kremer has allowed a .441 ISO and wOBA of .419 against his last 38 lefties. He’s only struck out 19.9% of lefties throughout the season and still has a .233 ISO and wOBA of .392 against all lefties this year.

Arraez won’t hit hard contact and doesn’t use his barrel for moon shots. But he always puts the ball in play and finds holes to earn base hits. Take Arraez to get at least two total bases tonight.

Christian Yelich Over 1.5 Total Bases (-125)

The Reds will begin their second half with Graham Ashcraft on the mound. Ashcraft has been solid against righties but has allowed a .270 ISO and woBA of .398 to his last 41 lefties. Ashcraft has allowed a .183 ISO and wOBA of .366 to 372 batters this year. He’s never been elite and has only earned 14.5% of strikeouts over the last month.

Christian Yelich is hitting a .229 ISO and wOBA of .445 against his last 81 righties. He’s also struck out under 15% of the time while hitting 58.6% of hard contact against righties in the previous 30 days.

Yelich also has a .411 BABIP, which means he’s reached base 41.1% of the time against righties in the last month when putting the ball in play. That’s an amazing rate.

Isaac Paredes Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)

Alec Marsh will get the start for the Royals tonight. Marsh has pitched against 42 batters this season, allowing a .353 ISO and wOBA of .436. Marsh isn’t getting a high rate of ground balls, especially against righties. He’s also allowing over 40% of fly balls to righties and giving up more than 35% of line drives to righties.

He’s allowed a 42.9% hard contact rate against righties and rarely earns swinging strikes or whiffs against righties.

He’ll take on Isaac Paredes of the Rays. Paredes has hit a .333 ISO and wOBA of .499 against his last 60 righties. Paredes has also walked more than he’s struck out. He’s not hitting many ground balls and continues to hit hard contact against righties as a right-handed batter.

Parades also has a ..387 BABIP and a barrel percentage of 11.4% against righties over the last month. He’s got a great matchup tonight.
