MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (7/7)

There are 15 games on tonight’s MLB slate. The weather looks good in most spots tonight. Therefore, I’m expecting plenty of hits and many runs across the board tonight.

I’m eying a few spots for our MLB Player Props tonight. Here are three player props to consider for tonight’s MLB slate.

Friday’s Best MLB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Randy Arozarena Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)

Randy Arozarena has slugged a .258 ISO and wOBA of .452 over the last month against righties. He’s also struck out 22.2% of the time and is hitting nearly 23% of line drive contact against righties when making contact over the last month.

He’ll take on Charlie Morton of the Braves. Morton has only earned 22.4% of strikeouts against righties in the last 30 days. He’s also allowed a .231 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 58 righties faced.

Morton hasn’t earned high-ground balls and has given up 41% of line drives against righties in the last month. He’s also allowed 46.2% of hard contact during that time.

Arozarena has a terrific, sneaky matchup against Morton tonight.

Billy McKinney Over .5 Hits (-165)

Jameson Taillon will pitch against his old team. However, he’s been awful against lefties, allowing a .409 ISO and wOBA of .476 last month.

The Yankees don’t have many lefties in their lineup, but Billy McKinney should be one of the few getting the start. He’s hitting a .293 ISO and wOBA of .342 with 20% of strikeouts over the last month against righties.

McKinney has also hit 27.6% of line drives and continues to minimize ground balls against righties.

I like McKinney’s chances to get us at least one hit against Tallion.

Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)

Luis Castillo hasn’t looked good recently for the Mariners. Yes, he’s earning high strikeouts and giving up a low amount of walks. But he’s also allowed a .283 ISO and wOBA of .361 to his last 127 batters.

Lefties have smacked a .293 ISO and wOBA of .378 against Castillo over the last month and have above-average numbers against him throughout the season.

Castillo has also allowed the same amount of fly and ground balls against lefties in the last month and an 11.1% barrel percentage against lefties during that time. Despite this, his BABIP is still only at .275 against lefties. That’s going to rise, knowing all of his other analytics.

Meanwhile, Kyle Tucker has slugged a .200 ISO and wOBA of .376 against righties in the last 30 days. He’s only struck out 15% of the time and has hit 35.6% of line drives and fly balls with 49.2% of hard contact. Tucker has a BABIP of .321 in the last 30 days against righties, which is an excellent average for a hitter.

If Tucker can put the ball in play, he will earn some big hits against Castillo and maybe even an extra-base hit.
