Monday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Matt Olson Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

The Braves took two out of three against the Phillies, and the offense looked great throughout the series. They are going to be in World Series contention again with one of the best lineups and pitching staffs in the league.

They face the White Sox, which were just swept by the Tigers and will likely finish near the bottom of the AL Central. Matt Olson is the only one of the Braves with a significant amount of experience against Chris Flexen from their days as AL West rivals. Olson has some solid numbers, going 5-for-15 with two doubles, and had a great series against the Phillies, getting four hits out of ten with three doubles and a home run.

Ryan Mountcastle Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

The Royals have some young talent, but it could still be some time before they’re a competitive team. Today, they’ll have Michael Wacha on the mound; he’s becoming a true journeyman as this will be the fifth year in a row starting the season on a new team. In his last two seasons, he’s pitched very well, going 25-6 with a 3.27 ERA.

It will be a tough start going against the Orioles, who mashed the ball against the Angels by scoring 25 runs in the three-game series. Some of these hitters have good numbers off Wacha, including Ryan Mountcastle, who’s 7-for-17, including a triple and a home run.

Juan Soto Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+100)

The Yankees had a fantastic opening series by getting a four-game sweep against the Astros in Houston. The pitching looked fantastic, but the offense was especially great as they came up with clutch hits and staged some come-from-behind wins.

Juan Soto’s first taste with the Yanks was memorable, with his .529 batting average ranked second in the league (Min. 10 at-bats), including a home run and four RBI.

He and the Yankees head to Arizona to face the defending National League Champion Diamondbacks. Ryne Nelson gets the ball for the D-Backs, and Soto has shown power facing him, with his three against him going for a triple and two home runs.
