MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (4/17)
The weather is getting warm, and we're fully into the MLB season. Let's begin the week by looking at some players that can make an impact in tonight's games.

Shohei Ohtani OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (-136)
Patriots Day is the biggest day in the city of Boston. You have the running of the Boston Marathon, and the Red Sox play an early game. The first three games were tight and exciting, with Boston taking all three, and today will try and complete a four-game sweep of the Angels.
Shohei Ohtani is standing in the way and is having another fantastic season on the mound. In 19 innings, he's allowed just one earned run and has a 32% strikeout rate. Ohtani has success against this Boston lineup with a .192 wOBA, and in his one start at Fenway, he pitched seven shutout innings with 11 strikeouts.
Marcus Semien 2+ Total Bases (-135)
The Rangers are among the most surprising teams in the league, as they sit in first place early in the season. Management was busy in the winner by signing talent on offensive and pitching talent.
Semien was signed the year prior and had an excellent 2022 season with 26 home runs and 83 RBI. He's seen success against today's opponent Jordan Lyles going 10-for-20 with five extra-base hits. He’s also on a nice run at the moment by having a hit in five of his last 12 at-bats.
Kyle Tucker 2+ Total Bases (+100)
The champs have not played consistently throughout the season as they start 7-9 and are fourth early in the AL West. They aren’t terrible, as they are in the top half of a few offensive and pitching categories, and with a few large wins, their score differential is +7.
Tucker has been one of those big bats early in the season, as he owns part of the team lead in home runs and total bases and is second in hits. He hasn’t seen much of Toronto’s Kevin Gausman, but has three hits in four at-bats, including a double.
