Monday’s Best MLB Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Matt Chapman To Record 2+ Total Bases (+115)

The Blue Jays are coming off an incredible weekend in the Bronx, where they took two of three. The lineup is the significant reason for their success, and they’re getting contributions from their star players.

One of those players is Matt Chapman, who’s fourth with a 1.122 OPS and fifth with a .367 batting average.

He and the Jays will host the White Sox, who are coming off a series loss to the Rays. Lance Lynn gets the start. He has not done well this season, as he’s allowed 16 earned runs in his last 15.2 innings. Chapman only has two hits in 17 at-bats against Lynn, but both were home runs. This bet goes off how each player is trending more than their history.

Edward Cabrera OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-102)

The Marlins and Braves will meet up in Atlanta. It’s looking like Atlanta is once again the team to beat in the NL East, thanks to that power-hitting and pitching.

Edward Cabrera will have the task of containing this high-powered offense for Miami. One thing that comes with an offense that emphasizes the power bats is they will strike out a lot, and it continues with Atlanta being fifth in strikeouts this year.

Cabrera isn’t a high strikeout pitcher, but he has a 50 % strikeout rate against this Braves roster and had seven in his last outing in Atlanta.

Mike Trout To Record 3+ Total Bases (+150)

The Angels began the season playing very well, but they’ve dropped six of their last 10 and are at .500. They get the benefit from facing the future Las Vegas Athletics, who are well on their way to a 100+ loss season.

LA will go against the A’s No. 2 prospect Ken Waldichuk, whom they’ve already seen and smashed for six earned in 5.2 innings.

That includes three home runs, one being from Mike Trout. Trout has a brief but dominating history against Waldichuk by going 4-for-5 with three hits for extra bases.
