Mark Canha to record 2+ Total Bases (+120)
The Tigers weren’t expected to be a contender, but they are above .500. Their offense hasn’t been great, as they’re batting just .223 and averaging 3.9 runs per game, but the 3.14 ERA is fourth-best. One hitter we’ll highlight is Mark Canha, who is red-hot with a seven-game hitting streak and has raised his batting average from .217 to .272. He’ll face the Cardinals’ Steven Katz. Canha only has six at-bats against Katz but has three hits, including a home run.
Yariel Rodriguez Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-116)
The Royals and Blue Jays will meet up again. It was all Kansas City in the last series, as they won three of the four games. Yariel Rodriguez will get back-to-back starts against the Royals, and like all of his other starts, it was short, going four innings and allowing three earned. runs One of the problems he had in that game was control; the Royals worked the count and made contact. Rodriguez could only get two strikeouts. With him never pitching past the fourth he won’t reach this strikeout prop.
Max Fried Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-122)
The Braves look like one of the better teams in the league, but Philadelphia’s turnaround has helped them get back in contention in the early part of the season. Max Fried will be essential to this rotation, especially with Spencer Strider out for the rest of the season. After a rough beginning, he has a 1.77 ERA in his last three starts. He faces the Mariners, a bottom-tier offense, as they’re 26th in OBP and 27th in average. The worst part of the Mariners is their strikeouts. Their 28.1% strikeout rate is a league-worst. Fried has a 34.4% strikeout rate against this Seattle lineup.
