MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (5/15)
The weather is getting warmer, and we’re fully into the MLB season. Let’s look at some players that could make an impact tonight.
Monday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

Pete Alonso OVER 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
Patrick Corbin was a brilliant pitcher in Arizona and his first season in Washington, where he helped lead this franchise to a title. However, it’s been all downhill from there and since 2020 he is 18-47 with a 5.75 ERA. Tonight he’ll take on the Mets, who he has struggled against, and the roster has a lifetime average of .295 with a .456 slugging.
One particular player we’re targeting for tonight is Pete Alonso. The Polar Bear has an excellent history against the Corbin, batting .351 and slugging .811.
Merrill Kelly OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (+105)
The Diamondbacks are among the most surprising teams this season, as they sit in second place in the NL West.
Merrill Kelly has been a significant contributor to that this season. He could be ready for a breakout year thanks to a phenomenal start with a 3.18 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. His strikeout numbers are some of the best of his career, and his 9.1 strikeouts per nine would be a personal best. Oakland is 24th in strikeout percentage and just a tiny sample of 14 at-bats, Kelly has a 42.9 strikeout percentage and 33.3% whiff rate
Alek Manoah To Record a Win
The Yankees lost another heartbreaker yesterday, and now they head onto the road with their first stop in Toronto. Alek Manoah will start against the Yanks, and don’t look at his high ERA because it stems from one bad start. Besides that, he’s allowed three or fewer earned runs in his other six starts.
One was against New York, where he pitched seven scoreless, allowing two hits. I like him to get his second win against them tonight.
