MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (5/22)
The weather is getting warmer, and we're fully into the MLB season. Let's look at some players that could make an impact tonight.
Monday's Best MLB Player Prop Bets

Luke Mallie OVER 0.5 Hits (-135)
We have a National League Central series as the Reds host the Cardinals. St. Louis struggled out of the gate this season and was sitting in the basement of the division, but they're coming in, winning 12 of their last 15, and have moved up to third. The Reds are trending in the opposite direction and have lost six of their last seven and moved down to last.
Jordan Montgomery will go for the Cardinals, and although it's a small sample size, some of the Reds hitters have good numbers. This includes Luke Mallie, who has a hit in four straight games and is 2-for-5 lifetime against Monty.
Edward Cabrera To Record a Win (+165)
The Marlins are keeping their heads above water as they sit above .500 and in contention in the NL East. They could continue to trend up because of their next eight series, and seven are against teams under .500, including tonight's opponent, the Rockies.
Edward Cabrera is young, but he has a bright future. He has fall-into-the-abyss type of pitches and with a strikeout rate in the 86th percentile and whiff rate in the 93rd. The Rockies are coming in with an average strikeout rate but the tenth-worse whiff rate that will help Cabrera pull out a win against a below-average team.
Christian Walker OVER 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBI (+115)
The Diamondbacks are an early surprise that keeps on delivering, and although they've fallen out of first, it's only because the Dodgers got hot. The offense wasn't good last year, but now they're eighth in OPS.
A part of that is thanks to Christian Walker, who is on pace to eclipse his career best in home runs and RBI. He'll see the Phillies' Zack Wheeler, against whom he is batting .545 and a .909 slugging 11 at-bats.
