The weather is warm now, and we’re rolling through the MLB season. Let’s look at some players that could make an impact today.

Monday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

Luis Arraez To Record 2+ Total Bases (+100)

The Marlins are one of the hottest baseball teams, winning 12 of 15 games. The offense has been locked in, scoring 5.4 runs per game with a .419 slugging percentage.

Not only is Arraez their top hitter, but he’s one of the best in baseball with a .380 AVG and just a 5.4 strikeout percentage. He has a decent sample size against Jose Berrios to have confidence in him, going 3-for-10 with a triple and 0% strikeout and whiff rate.

Carlos Santana To Record 2+ Total Bases (+100)

The Pirates have had dramatic peaks and valleys this season. They are fortunate that the N.L. Central doesn’t have a standout team. After starting the season 20-9, they have gone 14-27 and are on a six-game losing streak.

They might be able to pull out of this funk against Drew Smyly, who they recently scored five runs off in their last matchup. Santana had a great day at the plate in that game, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, and since that game, the veteran is batting .368 with a 1.118 OPS.

James Paxton OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (-110)

The Red Sox are last in the ultra-competitive A.L. East, but they are still in the hunt to get a playoff spot through the Wild Card. You would believe a last place team would have a large disadvantage when taking on a first-place team, but the Red Sox have a better record than the Twins.

Paxton gets the start, and his strikeout abilities will help him tremendously. His 33.4-percent rate is in the 94th percentile, and he faces a Minnesota lineup with the worse strikeout rate in the league.
