MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (8/28)

We now have less than two months left in the season, so we're interested in seeing which teams stay competitive.

Let's look at some players that can see some success tonight.

Monday's Best MLB Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Blake Snell To Record The Win (+105)

There hasn't been a starting pitcher better than Blake Snell in the second half of the season. Since May 31 (min. ten starts), he leads the league with a 1.47 ERA, and opponents are batting just .169. Although he doesn’t have much experience against this Cardinals roster, he’s shown success with a lifetime opponent batting average of .111. He’ll also face off against  Adam Wainwright, who will have the worst ERA of his career and the fewest wins in a year with at least 15 starts. The pitching matchup heavily favors the Padres and should come away with the win.

Ronald Acuna Jr. OVER 2.5 Total Bases (+120)

Ronald Acuna is set to make history this year as he is the clear favorite to be the National League MVP. With 28 home runs and 59 stolen bases, he could become the first player to join the 30/60 club. That could come tonight in the thin air of Denver as he faces Austin Gomber. He’s just 1-for5 against Gomber, but that hit is a home run.

Yordan Alvarez over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)

Yordan Alvarez is hot right now, as he’s hitting .320 over his last six games. The Red Sox are fresh on his mind as he and the Astros saw them last week, and he came away with hits in both games in which he appeared. One was not against Chris Sale, but he’s had success against him, going 4-for-5 with a double and home run.
