MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (9/4)

We have just one more month of the regular season. With all of the teams still in contention, it’ll be a fun few weeks. Let’s look at some important matchups with teams that need wins to stay in the race.

Monday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Luis Giolito To Record a Win (+270)

Luis Giolito has moved around a lot this season and now will debut with the Guardians, his third team of the season. As he re-joins the American League Central, he sees a familiar opponent in the Twins. He’s been successful against the Twins lineup this season, allowing just two earned and 21 strikeouts in 18 innings.

Alex Bregman Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)

Alex Bregman has been red hot lately as the Astros are in the thick of a tight race in the American League West. He’s second in the league with 21 hits since August 20th. This is a big series between the Rangers, as each is just a game behind the Mariners in the standings. Bregman will face off against Andrew Heaney, who he has a respectable .273 average against.

Trea Turner  Over 1.5 Total Bases (+130)

The Phillies are sitting on top of the National League Wild Card with less than a month left. Philly is on fire at the moment, winning six of nine. Trea Turner has had an up-and-down debut year with the Phillies, but he’s red hot with a hit in 14 straight and batting .361 in that time. He gets a matchup tonight against the veteran Rich Hill, who he’s had tremendous success against, as he’s batting a lifetime .471 with two doubles and home runs.
