Mother’s Day has always been a fun tradition in the MLB, with players celebrating across the league. With a full slate of games today, let’s take a look at who can use their pink bats to cash some hitting prop bets for us.

The Rays and Yankees look to wrap up their four-game series today, with the Yankees taking 2 out of the last 3. It will be right-hander Clarke Schmidt on the mound for the Yankees, with Zach Eflin for the Rays. Schmidt is struggling this season (1-3, 5.35 ERA) despite picking up a win in his last outing against the lowly A’s. In particular, Lefties are giving Schmidt most of his trouble, as his opponent’s batting average against lefties this season is .378.
A guy that I think will benefit from this is Brendan Lowe, despite his own recent hitting slump (1-25 in the past 8 games). He has a plus matchup against the Righty and is too good of a hitter to have this slump continue. Look for him to break out today against the struggling Schmidt and cash this single prop today.

Cody Bellinger Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
The Twins are looking to win their series today at home with the Cubs visiting. The pitching matchup features two right-handers, Marcus Stroman for the Cubs and Louie Varland for the Twins. This will be Varland’s fourth start this year and only the 12th game started in his young career.
Cody Bellinger is having a solid start to the season, as he's batting .270 and has been much improved compared to last year. I like him to bounce back at the plate after an 0-5 day yesterday with a plus matchup against the right-hander Varland. I like him to have plenty of opportunities to drive in a run today against the inexperienced Varland as the Cubs should look to eliminate the bad taste in their mouths from yesterday. Bet on Bellinger to deliver over 1.5 H + R + RBIs in Minnesota this afternoon.

Lamonte Wade Jr. Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
The Giants are looking to even their series at 2-2 today on the road against the Diamondbacks. Logan Webb is on the mound for the Giants, with rookie right-hander Brandon Pfaadt pitching for the Twins. Pfaadt will be making his third career start today against an experienced Giants lineup. Pfaadt has given up 6+ earned runs in each of his first two starts.
Lamonte Wade Jr. is batting .278 on the season, and against right-handers, he’s boasting an OPS of .981 with 6 HRs. He’s also on a recent tear, as he’s coming into this game with a 5-game hitting streak. I like the Giants to control this game against the rookie pitcher and look for Wade to be busy on the bases today and get across the plate in a high-scoring game. Take Wade over 1.5 H + R + RBIs with confidence in Arizona this afternoon.
