Let's take a look at our first few player props of June to watch for this Sunday afternoon.

Miles Mikolas to Record a Win

The Pirates and Cardinals look to wrap up their three-game series today, with the Pirates looking for the sweep. It will be veteran left-hander Rich Hill on the mound for the Pirates, with Righty Miles Mikolas for the Cardinals. The Cardinals have their Ace pitching at home against the 43-year-old Hill, who’s been struggling a bit with a 4.76 ERA, including 11 ER in the past 11.1 innings. The Cardinals and Mikolas should be motivated here, coming off two straight home losses against the Pirates, a team they usually beat over the past several years. Look for Mikolas to lead the way today, as the Cardinals will give Rich Hill some trouble early on the way to cashing this win prop

Bet: Miles Mikolas to Record a Win (+125 at DraftKings)

Jarren Duran Over 0.5 Singles

The Red Sox are facing off against the Rays for game three of this four-game series. The pitching matchup features two right-handers, Tanner Houck for the Red Sox and Taj Bradley for the Rays.

Jarren Duran is having a solid season for the Red Sox so far this year, especially against Right handed pitchers. Duran is boasting a .287 average and an OPS of .814 against righties. I like him to bounce back at the plate after a hitless performance in Game 2 of yesterday’s doubleheader with a plus matchup against the right-hander Bradley. I like him to have plenty of opportunities as he’s been moving up on the lineup due to his solid hitting this year. Bet on Duran to deliver over 0.5 singles at Fenway Park this afternoon.

Bet: Jarren Duran Over 0.5 Singles (+115 at DraftKings)

Jordan Walker Over 0.5 Singles

As mentioned early, the Cardinals are looking to avoid their series sweep today at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates. We discussed the pitching side for the Cardinals, now we are going to shift our focus to who picks it up for the offensive end.

With the Lefty Rich Hill on the mound for the Pirates, one guy who I think benefits from this today is rookie Jordan Walker. Walker is batting .272 on the season, including a .818 OPS against left-handers. Walker has also been hot (5-game hitting streak) and was 1-3 with a walk yesterday. I expect him to be a part of the group of hitters to get to Rich Hill today. Take Walker over 0.5 singles with confidence in St. Louis this afternoon.

Bet: Jordan Walker Over 0.5 Singles (+105 at DraftKings)
