Miami Marlins Race to 3 Runs (+130)

The Marlins and Orioles look to wrap up their three-game series today, with the Orioles looking for the sweep and extending their 7-game winning streak. It will be left-hander Steven Overt on the mound for the Marlins and right-hander Kyle Bradish for the Orioles. Both pitchers have solid numbers; however, I believe Bradish is prone to giving up some runs today. The Marlins actually won the race to 3 runs yesterday before eventually losing the game. I like Luis Arraez and company to break out today and put up some runs on Bradish before the Orioles bullpen comes into play. Take the Marlins to reach 3 runs first today in Baltimore, as they will have the upper hand being the away team.

Adam Duvall Over 0.5 Singles (+125)

The Red Sox and Cubs will face off at Wrigley today, with the series tied at 1-1. The pitching matchup features right-hander Kutter Crawford for the Red Sox and lefty Justin Steele for the Cubs. Steele has had a great season so far (9-2, 2.56 ERA), but we are going to look to go against him this afternoon in Chicago.

Adam Duvall is a guy I’m targeting today. Duvall returned from injury in early June and has been getting back his rhythm ever since. He’s currently on a 5-game hitting streak and also has a good matchup today with the lefty Steele. He’s batting .276 against left-handers this season with an OPS of .816. I like him to hit the ball hard today and find a base hit against Steele this afternoon.

Alex Bregman Over 0.5 Singles (+110)

The Astros and Angels will face off Sunday night, with the series all nodded up at 1-1. The Astros have righty Christian Javier on the mound, while lefty Tyler Anderson will throw for the Angels. This series has been very high scoring, with the teams putting up a combined 37 runs in two games. I expect the hits to continue today despite a solid pitching matchup.

I’m looking for the Astros to bounce back after yesterday’s loss in extra innings. A bet I like today is Alex Bregman over 0.5 Singles at a good price. Bregman has been struggling this season (his .238 average so far would mark the worst of his career), so the +110 price tag makes sense. Despite his recent slump, Bregman is too good of a hitter to not figure this out soon. Look for him to break out in the second half of this season, beginning tonight in Los Angeles. Take Bregman over 0.5 singles at this price.
