Read on below to find out which three player props we are backing at +160 odds or higher.

Tuesday’s Best MLB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Bryson Stott Over RBIs vs. Orioles (+190

The Philadelphia Phillies have been held to four or fewer runs in five of their last seven games but have one of the highest projected team totals of the day (Over 4.5, -120), making us confident that an offensive bounceback is imminent.

The Phillies face Baltimore Orioles righty Kyle Gibson, who has pitched to a 6.63 ERA over his last seven starts, the third-worst among all qualified starting pitchers in that span. Furthermore, Gibson has allowed a .302 OBA to left-handed hitters and ranks in the bottom-11 in BABIP (.339) since June 17.

When looking at the Phillies’ lefties, we are bypassing Bryce Harper’s +150 odds to drive in a run in favor or more value with Bryson Stott. Though Stott ranks just 10th among all NL second basemen in RBIs (36), he is fourth among all second basemen (min. 200 PAs) in BABIP (.341) and the top 10 among all qualified second basemen in wRC+. And per Inside Edge, Stott entered Monday slugging .402 on pitches outside of the zone, fifth-best among all hitters.

Stott has just one RBI in his last six games, but his career .362 batting average and .991 OPS in July are the highest of any month in his career and inspire confidence that he can plate one run today.

Gleyber Torres Under 0.5 Hits vs. Mets (+195)

The New York Yankees rank bottom five among all AL teams in wRC+ and second-worst in BABIP in July. Still, Gleyber Torres has done all he can to carry the offense in Aaron Judge’s absence. Torres leads all qualified New York Yankees hitters with a .264 batting average, 98 hits and 43 RBIs. He has also been one of their only consistent contributors in the second half, slashing .382/.378/.618 since the All-Star Break, with a team-leading 21 total bases. However, today, he faces New York Mets righty Justin Verlander, against whom he is just 2-for-15 (both hits were singles) with a 33% strikeout rate in his career.

Verlander has inspired confidence that a second-half rebound is coming, which is why his name has been floated as a potential trade candidate as the deadline approaches, though he has a full no-trade clause. Verlander has allowed a .165 OBA through four July starts and five or fewer hits in six of his previous seven games. He also ranks in the top quarter of the league in xSLG and barrels despite the slow start to the season.

Torres enters on a 13-game hitting streak, but we are getting great odds for that streak to end today.

Julio Urias to Record a Win vs. Blue Jays (+160)

The combination of Julio Urias pitching at home matched up against Chris Bassitt on the road makes this an auto-play at plus-money odds for Urias to record a win.

Most of Urias’s struggles this season have come on the road, as he has pitched to a 7.88 ERA in eight road starts compared to a 2.15 ERA in six starts at Dodger Stadium. However, he has earned the victory in five of his six home starts, and Matthew Moreno laid out why we should have the utmost confidence backing Urias in second-half starts going forward.

Los Angeles has the second-best winning percentage (.634) of any team in the league against right-handed starting pitchers. We expect it to continue that success against Toronto Blue Jays righty Bassitt, who has pitched to a 5.81 ERA and 1.59 WHIP and allowed a .304 OBA in 11 road starts this year.

The Dodgers are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games (+5.4 units, 28% ROI), so we are getting an excellent price for their starting pitcher to lead them to another victory.
