MLB Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (7/19)

We’ve got baseball action on throughout the entire day!

There are six-day games along with nine-night matchups. Starting in the afternoon, baseball will be on television for 12 straight hours.

It doesn’t get better than that!

Here are three player props to consider for the later portion of the slate.

Wednesday’s Best MLB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Juan Soto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

Jose Berrios will take the mound for the Blue Jays tonight. He’s had high strikeouts and low walks. However, he’s giving up a .237 ISO and wOBA of .377 to his last 64 lefties. He’s also allowed above-average numbers to lefties in those two categories on the season.

Berrios has allowed over 26% of fly balls and nearly 37% of line drives against lefties in the last month. He’s also earned just 31.6% of ground balls in the previous 30 days.

Berrios will face a red-hot Juan Soto, who is a left-handed hitter. Soto has slugged a .367 ISO and wOBA of .487 against his last 60 right-handed pitchers. Soto has also struck out only 15% of the time against righties in the previous month.

I like Soto’s chances of hitting two base hits or at least one extra-base hit.

Jake Fraley Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)

We’ve got a lot of value here. Jake Fraley has crushed right-handed pitchers in the last month. He’ll face Ross Stripling to start the game.

Stripling has allowed a .350 ISO and wOBA of .420 over the last 30 days to lefties and has allowed 50% of fly balls and 25% of line drives, and has induced only 16.7% of ground balls.

Meanwhile, Fraley has hit a .261 ISO and wOBA of .411. He’s also limited strikeouts to 20% while hitting over 25% of line drives and fly balls against righties in the last month.

Give Fraley some thought. He’s got a lot of potential against Stripling and any other righties he might face.

Edouard Julien Over 0.5 Total Hits (-170)

Edouard Julien has been on fire against right-handed pitching in the last 30 days. He’s hit a .318 ISO and wOBA of .442 against his last 49 righties faced.

He’ll take on Luis Castillo of the Mariners. It sounds like a difficult matchup at first. However, Castillo has struck out only 22% of lefties in the last month and allowed a .291 ISO and wOBA of .340 to his previous 59 lefties.

Castillo is allowing more fly balls than ground balls and is giving up nearly 42% of hard contact to lefties in the last 30 days. He’s also allowing a ridiculous 16.3% barrel percentage to those lefties in the previous 30 days.

Julien has hit over 32% of fly balls and line drives against righties over the last 30 days and has hit close to 52% of hard contact. Take a chance on Julien to earn at least one hit tonight.
