MLB Player Prop Bets, Odds & Picks: Dodgers vs. Yankees (Tuesday)
The New York Yankees were the last team (in 1996) to come back from an 0-2 hole to win a World Series. Now they will have to be just the second team ever to come back from an 0-3 deficit in any playoff round if they want to be called World Series champions.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were one strike away from their fifth shutout of the postseason yesterday, and now they have a bullpen game going to try to clinch this World Series in four games. Will the bullpen game wake up the Yankees bats?

Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy- either player to hit a home run (+265)
We do not have to work too hard to make a case for Freddie Freeman to hit a home run, although history will not be on his side to do so tonight.
Freeman has hit a home run in all three World Series games thus far, and is now the only player other than George Springer to go yard in five consecutive World Series games. Thus, if he hits another home run tonight, he will be the first player in MLB history to do so in six consecutive WS games.
Something is definitely right with Freemanâs swing, and his ankle injury looks more than healed, as he did not record a single extra-base hit in the NLDS or NLCS, but now has four in this series. He is one of the best fastball hitters in the game, with a .561 xSLG and a hard-hit rate of 45.2% against the pitch, which is something that Gil throws nearly half the time (48.8%).
Combining Freemanâs home run odds with Max Muncyâs is more for added insurance, but the lefty is one of five Dodgers players with three or more home runs this postseason. And considering L.A. has scored 10 of its 14 runs via the long ball this series, it makes sense to get some coverage with its hitters to go deep in this Game 4.
Alex Verdugo Under 0.5 total bases (-110)
Alex Verdugo was responsible for the Yankeesâ only runs yesterday with a ninth-inning home run. But considering he is likely to face a different pitcher each at-bat tonight with L.A. throwing a bullpen game, I do not see him carrying that momentum over to tonight.
Entering Game 3, Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton were a combined 5-for-16 with two home runs, four RBI and were 1-for-2 with runners in scoring position in the series. Meanwhile, everyone else was a combined 9-for-55 with no home runs, one RBI, and were 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.
Verdugo is slashing .195/.283/.317 this postseason, and he hits ninth in the lineup, which means he will get the fewest at-bats. He has gone under this projected total in five of 12 postseason games, but this is still a fine value play from a Yankees lineup that has not gotten much going offensively this series.
