A short slate of games today and a few games that some weather in the Northeast may impact. However, that still means there are opportunities for us to find bets we like and can attack for profit.

Alex Verdugo o1.5 TB (+130)
Verdugo has been hitting well over .300since the All-Star Break and appears likely to face RHP Luis Patino today. The power has not been there all season, but he did have 12 doubles in August. He makes a ton of contact and does not walk often, and this makes him a good bet at plus money.
Luis Arraez o0.5 HR (+800)
Any HR prop with Luis Arraez likely doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence, but this is strictly a Yankee Stadium gamble. Arraez makes lots of great contact, and when he does pull the ball, he hits a FB or LD about 45% of the time. On the limited slate, it is a bet worth taking at these odds. I also like Jake Cave +450 for the same bet.
Jose Suarez u4.5 Strikeouts (+135)
Suarez has been averaging just under a strikeout per inning thus far in 2022 and gets a poor Tigers lineup. Overall, the Tigers strike out a ton however, against lefties, they are much more middle of the pack since August 1st. I believe this number is a bit too high, and I do not expect him to get there, so I will take the plus money.
Brewers Team Runs o6.5 (+110)
Anytime I can get a team total at plus money in Coors Field, that is a bet I am willing to make. While this Brewers lineup has been a bit of a disappointment lately, this appears to be a get-right for them. They have the fourth lowest BABIP as a team in the last 30 days, and Coors is a cure-all for BABIP-related issues.
Giancarlo Stanton 01.5 TB (+125)
Stanton has been downright awful since coming off the IL with zero extra-base hits thus far. Mostly it appears the timing has been off for Stanton. He has visibly appeared frustrated with himself so look for him to have a bounceback game today. Anytime we can get one of the game’s premier power hitters at plus money, we should take it.
