Paolo Espino: o/u 14.5 Outs

Espino has the tall task of facing the Atlanta Braves tonight. Over his last eight starts, he has an ERA of 4.93 and has given up a 1.41 HR per nine innings. Espino has on hit this number in two of his last six starts and only went 13 outs in his last start against the Braves.

The Atlanta Braves have clinched a playoff spot but are still in the middle of a division race, so the motivation to win is still there.

The Pick: u14.5 Outs (+105 DraftKings)

Michael Wacha: o/u 4.5 Strikeouts

The Baltimore Orioles are one of the most surprising teams of the season but have come back down to earth over the last month. They unloaded on the Redsox last night, putting up 14 runs. Tonight they have a tougher matchup going against Michael Wacha.

Wacha is averaging 5.87 strikeouts over his last eight starts and has been much better at Fenway Park. The Redsox starter is 5-1 with a 1.72 ERA at home, while opponents are batting a lousy .195

The Pick: o4.5 Strikeouts (-110 DraftKings)

Michael Wacha: To Record a Win

For the reasons I mentioned above, I really like Wacha to have success against the Orioles.

Wacha is 11-1 with a 2.70 in 2022 and 5-1 with a 1.72 pitching in his home ballpark.

The Picks: Yes (+180 DraftKings)

Robbie Ray: To Record a Win

Robbie Ray is 12-10 with a 3.60 ERA in his first season with the Seattle Mariners. But he has been vastly better pitching at home.

While pitching in Safeco Field, Ray is 6-3 with a 2.73 ERA, and his opponent’s batting averages drop from .226 to .197.

Robbie Ray has two starts against the Texas Rangers this season and has recorded a win in both starts. I like Ray to go a perfect 3 for 3 against this Rangers team.

The Pick: Yes (+145 DraftKings)

Pablo Lopez: o4.5 Hits Allowed

The New York Mets have clinched a playoff spot but are still looking to secure the N.L. Division Crown. They currently have a one-game lead on the Atlanta Braves and need as many wins as possible. With the motivation still there, they have a great match-up against Pablo Lopez and the Marlins.

In four starts against the Mets, Lopez is 1-3 with an 11.34 ERA. Yes, you read the right. Over those four starts, Lopez has given up 21 earned runs on 34 hits.

The Pick: o4.5 Hits Allowed (-140 DraftKings)
