Major League Baseball rolls out a 15-game slate today as we close out another week of the season. Action gets underway at 1:05 p.m. ET in Philadelphia as the Phillies go for the sweep over the visiting Nationals. A few other notable matchups include a rubber match in the Bronx between the Rays and Yankees while the White Sox go for a four-game sweep in Oakland.

Below I've listed my top five player props for today.

Alec Bohm O/U 1.5 Total Bases

Let's start with the first game of the day as the Phillies look to break out the brooms on the lowly Nationals. The Phils will go with Aaron Nola, while the Curly W's counter with Anibal Sanchez in this divisional showdown set for 1:05 p.m. ET from Citizens Bank Park.

Anibal Sanchez has been putting together a nice stretch of starts, allowing just two earned runs over his last four outings (21.1 IP). However, this may just be a small blip of success as he doesn't have great numbers over his 10 starts this year. The right-hander comes in at 2-5 with a 4.56 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over a total of 51.1 innings of work.

This will be his first time facing Philadelphia this year, but they've found success against him in the past. This current Phillies lineup is 28-96 (.292) against Sanchez, with five home runs, two triples, and five doubles. More specifically, Alec Bohm is a perfect 3-3 (1.000) against him with three singles. The budding star is hitting .294 (16th) on the year with 10 home runs and an OPS of .736 (85th). Let's ride with him to clear his total base number this afternoon.

Bet: Alec Bohm Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110 via DraftKings)

J.T. Realmuto O/U 1.5 Total Bases

Moving down the lineup a spot, let's lock in J.T. Realmuto's over on total bases also. The backstop comes into today's game, hitting .273 (42nd) with 16 bombs (75th) and an OPS of .808 (36th). He's seen Sanchez well in his career, going 7-14 (.500) with two long balls and a double.

If Sanchez turns in another decent start, these two hitters will have at least an at-bat or two against a subpar bullpen. Washington's relievers rank 20th in bullpen ERA (4.08) and 18th in WHIP (1.31).

Bet: J.T. Realmuto (+120 via DraftKings)

Jose Altuve O/U 1.5 Total Bases

The Astros go for a series win this afternoon as they turn to Luis Garcia to handle the starting pitching responsibilities. The Halos counter with Tucker Davidson in this A.L. West clash slated for 2:10 p.m. ET from Minute Maid Park.

Tucker Davidson hasn't been great over a combined nine appearances (eight starts) with the Braves and Angels this season. The southpaw comes in at 2-5 with a 6.42 ERA and 1.72 WHIP over 40.2 innings pitched. Davidson last pitched on Sunday against the Astros and was tagged for seven earned runs on seven hits and a pair of walks over 6.1 innings. He was saddled with the loss in the 9-1 domination in Anaheim.

Jose Altuve had a great game and went 3-4 (.750) against Davidson. The star middle infielder recorded a single, double, and home run against the lefty. Overall on the year, Altuve is hitting .287 (26th) with 24 big flies (29th) and an OPS of .891 (9th). Look for him to do some damage today at Minute Maid. Give me the over on 1.5 total bases for Altuve.

Bet: Jose Altuve Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105 via DraftKings)

Yoan Moncada O/U 1.5 Total Bases

The White Sox go for their fifth straight win this afternoon as they attempt to sweep the Athletics at the Coliseum. Johnny Cueto gets the nod for the Southsiders while the A's counter with Cole Irvin in this A.L. matchup scheduled for 4:07 p.m. ET.

Irvin was putting together a nice season, but unfortunately for him, it has been derailed in four out of his last five starts. The southpaw has given up 24 earned runs over his last five starts to the Astros (5 ER), Mariners (5 ER), Marlins (0 ER), Nationals (5 ER), and Braves (9 ER) most recently. Irvin is now just 7-11 on the year with a 3.78 ERA (33rd) and 1.12 WHIP (22nd).

The White Sox offense is heating up, and they're still the most lethal team when it comes to hitting left-handed pitching. Chicago ranks first overall in team batting average against lefties (.285), and they're third in OPS (.809). As for the head-to-head matchups, Yoan Moncada has gone 2-3 (.667) against Irvin in his career with a pair of singles. The third baseman is having himself a series, going 6-16 (.375) with two home runs and a double. Let's take a shot here on his over for total bases with the plus-money payout.

Bet: Yoan Moncada Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140 via DraftKings)

Andrew Vaughn O/U 1.5 Total Bases

Let's also lock in Moncada's teammate, Andrew Vaughn. The utility man is hitting .289 (23rd) on the year with 15 dingers (90th) and an OPS of .792 (50th). He's also having a great series, having gone 6-14 (.429) with a pair of doubles. Vaughn has only faced Irvin in two at-bats, but he's 1-2 (.500) with a home run.

Similar to the Phillies guys above, it's worth mentioning that Oakland's arm barn is amongst the worst in the league. They're ranked 23rd in bullpen ERA (4.35) and 24th in WHIP (1.38). Chicago's offense is on a tear right now, and I expect them to close out this series with some more fireworks. Good luck today on all of your bets!

Bet: Andrew Vaughn Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120 via DraftKings)
