Best MLB Playoffs Player To Hit A Home Run Bets

Mookie Betts (+450) | Freddie Freeman (+425)

As I said in my YRFI write-up, I am looking to take advantage of starting pitching with little to no playoff experience. Merrill Kelly is making his postseason debut and 5th start against the Dodgers this season. I think familiarity like this gives the offense a bit of an advantage.

Mookie Betts leads the Dodgers in HRs (25) against right-handed pitching and is the only player in this lineup with multiple HRs (3) against Kelly.

We must include Freddie Freeman here, as he may be the Dodgers’ most clutch hitter. 17 of his 29 HRs have come against right-handed pitching, and he has a .296 career average against Merrill Kelly, including three doubles and one HR.

Freeman’s 10 postseason HRs are tied for most on the team with Max Muncy.

Yordan Alvarez (+260) | Jose Altuve (+450) | Alex Bregman (+550)

Another starting pitcher we are looking to fade is Twins starter Bailey Ober. Ober also will be making his postseason debut. He gave up 22 HRs in the regular season; 16 have been against right-handed batters.

Despite missing a large chunk of the 2023 season, Yordan Alvarez still leads the Astros in HRs (25) against RHP, while Alex Bregman (18) is 3rd and Jose Altuve (14) is 5th.
