Wednesday’s Best Player to Hit a Home Run Bets

Mookie Betts (+400) & Max Muncy (+285)
Mookie Betts is on pace to set a career-high in HRs this season. He is already at 27 for the year and may blow by his season-high mark of 35 he hit last year. Betts has 17 HRs against right-handed pitchers this year, three shy of the team lead, only trailing teammate J.D. Martinez.
Max Muncy is so due! He is batting a poor .187, but we need a dinger from today, not four hits. This is an excellent matchup for Muncy against an RHP; he has the 3rd most HRs and 4th highest ISO on the Dodgers. Let’s get back on track, Max!
Dean Kremer has an HR/9 of 1.73, well above league average, and has allowed eight HRs over his last five starts.
Elly De La Cruz (+450) & Jake Fraley (+550)
Ross Stripling has an HR/9 of 2.36, the highest among today’s starting pitchers and 3rd highest in the MLB among starting pitchers with at least 40 IP.
Jake Fraley leads the Reds in HRs (13) against right-handed pitchers and has the team’s third-highest ISO (.236). Of Fraley’s 13 home runs, 8 have been at home, so there is great comfort for the Reds’ outfielder as he faces an RHP in his home ballpark.
Elly De La Cruz finally makes his debut on my HR Props. He has instantly become one of the most exciting players in the MLB, and we need him to continue that today. Of the four HRs he has hit this season, three have been at home, and three have come against an RHP.
Adolis Garcia (+320)
We are keeping this short and sweet.
No one on the Rangers has more home runs against righties or at Globe Life Field than Adolis Garcia. Only Corey Seager has a higher ISO, and I expect Garcia and the Ranger to do damage against a Rays team going with a bullpen game.
