MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions: Saturday (8/26)
Following last week's impeccable 3-0 Saturday outing, I was promptly punched in the face on Sunday with a 0-3 record and one no-contest. I cannot believe all three picks faltered in the way that they did, particularly Andrew Benintendi and the White Sox going off for 10 runs for the first time in what seemed like forever. Just another prime example of why the betting world can be so unpredictable and frustrating. Nothing we can do now but reset and try to get back into the win column this weekend.
Overall record: 36-36-3

Julio Rodriguez Over 10.0 Hitter Fantasy Score
Dare I bet on the hottest hitter in baseball to keep his scorching streak going against the pitiful Royals on Saturday afternoon? I dare do. J-Rod's stretch in August has been unprecedented, as he has gone 38-for-93 (.409) in the month while tacking on four homers, 23 RBI, 13 XBHs, and 11 steals. His current hitting streak sits at 10 games, and he would have hit the over on this prop line in seven out of those 10 games.
